Thumbs Up for "A Perfect World"

Saw 3 movies today - In case you don't know, Just like people eat food, I have to watch at least One movie in a Day .... I missed watching on films in the last two days coz I was Traveling... I also missed Out on working on my upcoming Novel - A supernatural Romance (Don't wana get carried away right now and talk about it ) ...
So, Coming back to my daily dosage of movies, I saw :
1) Robert Di Nero's A Bronx Tale
2) Kumar and Harold go to White Castle
3) A Perfect World ( Directed by Clint Eastwood, Written by: John Lee Hancock, Actor : Kevin Costner)

Saw A Bronx Tale which Despite being a Robert Di Nero movie, wasn't fast paced, but I give it full points for showing the intense Father-Son Love in the Movie... The New Agneepath (starring Hrithik & Sanjay Dutt)Copied the Part when the Little boy(Robert Di Nero's Son in the Movie) despite seeing the Cool Mafia guy-Sunny who kills a neighborhood fella, refuses to recognize him as The Murderer in front of the Cops, which makes him befriend Sunny- who the kid was always in awe of... It was funny, cz as an Indian Film watcher I was expecting the Protagonist to grow up into a Big Badass Mafia Guy because of his friendship with Sunny ... But I am glad that didn't happen ... Moving on, I have seen Kumar and Harold... but, the movie is actually Funny at a lot of places ... So Totally Worth a Repeat Watch However, It was A PERFECT WORLD that turned out to be an amazing Movie ... As a Writer & Film-Maker, this is the kinda stuff that I get inspired with ... What a story ! Two Thumbs up !

Kevin Costner was so Good...Full Points to Clint Eastwood too... Towards the end when Kevin Costner is about to die and little boy hugs him and cries was when I got so very emotional... The roller coaster Ride on the Car's Roof, the Boy stealing the Casper Uniform, Getting to do Trick or Treat .... and the whole chemistry being the little boy and a convict who had kept him hostage was so beautiful ...

It's hard to write down all the high points of the Movie cz there are so many of them .... Nevertheless, Thanks to the Movie, I am all energized and will probably watch one more Flick before taking some rest ...
Yawn :)

The whole of our life is all about Letting Go ~ Life of Pi

Saw Life of Pi ...

After the Movie ended I heaved a long Sigh ...  And, stayed quiet for sometime ....

I won't sing praises for the film, it ain't really required .... All I will say is that a lot of film-makers in India should learn something from these kind of Films .... Learn about Originality, Honesty and Creating something that evokes human emotions that are so very Real .... The work should be so good that it should make the viewers feel exactly what the protagonists feel while the story proceeds....

I was extremely hurt when Richard Parker simply walks into the wood putting no closure to the friendship between him and Suraj ... I felt like I was the person being left alone, though I survived.... though I experienced what no one ever will... but yet grieving for being left alone to continue my life's Journey ....

Animals too have a soul .... It's so true .... This was the thought that made me turn towards Vegetarianism ..... And, After watching Life of Pi it looks the best thing I ever did ...

A big thanks to Ang Lee for making this Movie .... While I am writing this Blog, I am still in Awe of the emotions that were showcased in the extraordinarily brilliant 'LIFE OF PI'   ...
