Movie review: Zindagi na milegi Dobara by Chandra Mehendrou

****
You get one life and you must live every moment of it beautifully. We all have fears, issues & emotional stuff to deal with and escapism should never be the way out. To be honest it’s easy to talk about a film that’s not worth watching but difficult to describe a really nice movie because, then instead of ranting about it, you’d rather want everyone to watch it and even want to relish it one more time. We should all face our fears, do what we love to do, follow our heart and cherish loved ones. And that’s the takeaway from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. What a breathtakingly well balanced film it is. Shot in picturesque Spain, the cinematography is great and the movie is based on a plot about 3 guys who are set out to celebrate a bachelor party. They meet at Barcelona and the adventure begins from there. Three friends played by Farhan Akhtar, Hritik Roshan and Abhay Doel, not one made me feel that they didn’t give their best. According to me, cinema should be a reflection of life and it should also serve you with a powerful message, not ignoring the entertainment quotient and ZNMD meets all expectations. Hritik Roshan looks killer in the movie and Farhan Akhtar looked no less. But, Hritik is Hritik and he looked like a Greek god belonging to a heavenly abode. Katrina Kaif’s character was beautifully sketched and she looked sincere. Kalki did complete justice to her character of a nosey over possessive fiancĂ©e who is ostensibly insecure. No doubt the best role was played by the Farhan Akhtar, who also flashed his chiseled body and great sense of style. The 3 love stories looked real and fresh and are good enough to make people realize that love & friendship form the base of our lives keeping the happiness quotient go up. The audience enjoyed the male bonding, the brother-hood showcased and laughed throughout the movie that was filled with witty humor and also empathized with the characters who eventually sort out some major issues of their lives while they unravel and face their fears. From the beginning till the end as a viewer I could not find any glitches. Thumbs up to Zoya Akhtar, The movie is a MUST WATCH!
